THE NIGERIAN SECURITY AND CIVIL DEFENCE CORPS, RIVERS STATE COMMAND
Another paramilitary organization in Rivers State, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) also had a workshop organized for them. There was an attendance of 55 people who were trained on the causes, symptoms, and effects of mental health challenges on the health of the individual. The members were also trained on taking active part in the drive to reduce the cases of mental health conditions. At the end of the workshops, the participants were excited and inspired and gave positive feedbacks with a request for more of such training programs.
